8. Relevant Software Tools

  • ODSutils - a standalone ODS RFI analysis utilities for HCRO. Developed by Dr. David Deboer at UC Berkeley/SETI (https://github.com/david-deboer/odsutils)

  • SOPP - Satellite Orbit Prediction Processor, a predictive algorithm that both anticipates potential incoming satellite RFI and then optimizes the telescope scheduling to observe a relatively cleaner sky region. Developed by Prof. Kevin Gifford at CU Boulder (https://pypi.org/project/sopp/)

  • OpenZMS - A prototype automatic spectrum sharing and management platform for intelligent sharing workflows for radio dynamic zones. Development was led by the Flux Research Group at the University of Utah (https://www.openzms.org)

  • rfi_harmonics_distance - A calculator for harmonic frequency separation to protected RAS/Science bands according to the Recommendation ITU-R RA.769. Developped by Dr. Greg Hellbourg at Caltech for the URSI RFI Conference (https://rfi-conference.org/rfi_harmonics_distance.html).
